Phoebe Guide: How to Make This Continuous Damage Queen Shine
Fellow players, today we bring you an extremely in-depth guide to Phoebe, packed with actionable tips that will help you effortlessly carry games. As the first limited-time continuous damage resonator in Crescendo, Phoebe boasts a unique game mechanism and diverse damage output methods. Let’s unlock the complete manual for this queen!
First, let’s get to know Phoebe’s basics. Phoebe is a 5-star character who wields a Sound Perception Instrument, with attributes in Diffraction and positioned as a damage dealer. She has two states: Absolution and Confession. In Absolution state, Phoebe focuses on dealing damage, while in Confession state, she applies the Diffraction Weakness effect to enemies. This effect is stackable, with each layer lasting a certain duration and periodically reducing by one layer while dealing Diffraction damage. The damage increases significantly with more stacks.
Phoebe can be used as either the main damage dealer or a secondary damage dealer. When used as the main output, it’s recommended that you or your teammate first apply the Diffraction Weakness effect on enemies, then switch to Absolution state for high damage output. As a secondary damage dealer, Phoebe can efficiently apply the Diffraction Weakness effect in Confession state while dealing damage from off-field. Overall, Phoebe is like the parsley of the game—a must-have presence.
Next, let’s look at Phoebe’s skill priority. When it comes to skill upgrades, we need to focus on priorities, much like eating—when hungry, eat main courses first, not dessert. First and foremost is the Resonance Circuit, which must be maxed out. It can double Phoebe’s damage output. Next is Resonance Release, which is equally crucial as it directly impacts your carrying ability. Following that are Resonance Skill and Variation Skill, which can be moderately upgraded but have lower priority. Finally, basic attacks can be allocated with remaining points.
In terms of weapon choice, Phoebe primarily uses the Sound Perception Instrument. Recommended weapons include the following. First is Luminous Hymn, which is essentially Phoebe’s exclusive weapon, tailor-made for her. With a base attack of 500 and a critical rate of 36%, it meets Phoebe’s output needs. Its weapon effect is also customized for Phoebe: a 12% attack boost, and when attacking targets affected by the Luminous Noise effect, both basic and heavy attack damage are increased by 14%, stackable up to 3 layers, lasting 6 seconds. When using the Encore skill, targets around the on-field character receive an additional 30% Luminous Noise effect damage, lasting 30 seconds, with the same effect not stackable.
Other good options include Stringmaster and Rime-Draped Sprouts. Stringmaster provides full attribute damage and attack boosts, allowing Phoebe to maintain high output both when on-field and off-field. Rime-Draped Sprouts, on the other hand, provides additional basic attack damage when Phoebe uses her Resonance Skill, stackable up to 3 layers, lasting 6 seconds, and triggers a powerful buff upon full stack.
If you don’t currently have access to a 5-star weapon, don’t worry. Augment (Clear Sound), Ocean’s Gift, Waltz in Masquerade, and Fusion Accretion are all excellent 4-star alternatives. While these weapons may not be as powerful as 5-star options, they still satisfy Phoebe’s basic needs.
